REMEMBER YOUR TDAC
A reminder for anyone traveling to Thailand:
All non-Thai nationals entering Thailand by air, land, or sea must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before arrival.
The TDAC can be submitted within three days before your arrival, including the day you arrive.
A few things to remember:
• You need a new TDAC every time you enter Thailand.
• Children and infants also need one.
• If you are only transiting and do not pass through Thai Immigration, a TDAC is not required.
• The TDAC does not replace a visa. It replaces the old paper arrival card.
• The official TDAC service is free.
• After submitting, keep the TDAC/QR code available on your phone.
Use the official Thailand Immigration Bureau TDAC system and be careful with third-party websites that charge a fee.

It’s super easy to get in – thanks to Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC). Everything is online, free and connected to your passport.
Here’s how it works:
Visit the official TDAC site at https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home and fill out the digital arrival card up to 3 days before you arrive.
You’ll need passport details, flight and accommodation info and a short health declaration.
Once submitted you get a digital confirmation – linked to your passport – so you don’t even need to print or scan anything on arrival.
That’s it. No fee, and no fuss. Just easy entry into Thailand 🇹🇭 We were one of the last off our plane and entry took about 40 minutes.

How long before you travel do you do the TDAC?
Within 3 days before travel, but it’s instant – so whenever you’re ready, but no earlier than 3 days.
Thailand entry rules are changing from 1 August 2026.
If you’re travelling to Thailand after 1 August, it’s worth understanding the difference between THIM and TDAC.
Here’s the simple version:
THIM becomes the mandatory immigration app from 1 August 2026.
TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) is still required as part of the arrival process.
Instead of thinking of them as two separate systems, think of THIM as the app you’ll use to complete your arrival requirements before you travel.
If you’ve already booked a trip later this year, now is a good time to familiarize yourself with the new process so there are no surprises before you fly.
